Test History
In RSU #74 there are several assessments or tests that we give to the students to help us know how we are doing in educating your children, while also trying to see where your child is academically so that we can better instruct them.
Because we do use these tests to help inform us, we feel that you as the parent, should also see how your child is doing on these tests. The tests that we have in ParentVUE are:
- MEA (State Assessment given to students in grades 3-8 once a year)
- PSAT/SAT
- NWEA & NWEA with Goals
The MEA and SAT are used as State Assessments and so these are given once a year depending on the grade level (ie Grades K, 1, 2, 9, 10, and 12 do not have any State Assessments).
NWEA we have started to give twice a year, fall and spring. Depending on the school and grade/child a winter test may also be given.
If you have any questions on this information please reach out to your child's teacher. You can email them by clicking on their name in either the Grade Book page or the Report Card page.
